Lessons from a bad D&D session

Yesterday I ran a bad session of D&D. It's a game I've loved for many years, and only seriously been playing recently. I had prepared a lot for this one, and when it didn't go well, it felt AWFUL—kind of like it feels after I do badly at a tournament.

Fortunately, I've had a lot of experiences doing badly at tournaments and bouncing back, and I was able to put some of those same skills to work here, and I made a video about the parallels between the two—click below to watch.
